All other candidates will likely be remote.
Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on and experienced sales manager to oversee our Direct to Consumer Sales. This person will be accountable for the team hitting their sales goal and working on different programs to ensure they do so. We are a growing startup, so a champion of change and teamwork will be key to this roles success. Along with hiring, training, and coaching, you will come up with creative ways to keep the team engaged and performing.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and staff the DTC sales team to ensure we meet customer demand efficiently.
  • Monitor and optimize response times, schedules, and conversion rates.
  • Work closely with marketing to align sales efforts with lead generation volume and quality.
  • Ensure sales scripts, processes, and CRM workflows support a high-conversion inbound funnel.
  • Oversee a potential outbound effort for warm lead follow-ups and re-engagement.
  • Track sales performance, call volumes, and team KPIs, making real-time adjustments as needed.
  • Hire, train, and coach sales reps to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Maintain a strong customer focus, ensuring all interactions enhance our brand reputation.
  • Set up and implement processes for the sales team and be the champion of new changes.
  • Collect and aggregate feedback from team members and ensure appropriate feedback gets passed along to the correct cross-functional partner and be a filter for less productive requests.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of sales management experience, with a focus on high ticket, direct to consumer sales.
  • Strong understanding of CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales analytics.
  • Proven ability to optimize inbound conversion rates and improve sales efficiency.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with marketing and operations.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
  • Experience managing and creating reporting in an ambiguous environment
